Effective January 1, 2026, three partners—Bettina-Axenia Bugus-Fahrenhorst (labor law), Christine Lingenfelser (commercial and distribution law, real estate) and Jens Borchardt (IP, IT law, media law, and data protection) will join the Jacobsen + Confurius team in Hamburg.
Bettina-Axenia Bugus-Fahrenhorst headed the employment law practice at SKW Schwarz from January 1, 2025. With her addition, Jacobsen + Confurius gains a strong and experienced partner and expands its nationwide employment law team to nine professionals.
Jacobsen + Confurius’ civil law practice, which focuses on commercial and corporate law, will also be significantly strengthened by the addition of Christine Lingenfelser, head of the commercial and distribution law practice.
Jens Borchardt complements the team with proven expertise in IT & digital business and data protection law and advises companies comprehensively on digital business models, technologies, and regulatory issues, particularly at the interface with labor, commercial, and distribution law.
With a total of 15 professionals and a combination of labor and civil law focused on management consulting, the Jacobsen + Confurius team is well equipped to enter 2026.
